B\u00e9la Bart\u00f3k is closely bound to Oradea.\u00a0This name represents a concept in all musical circles.\u00a0His personality and the way he functioned are key points in the history of music.\u00a0In the musical events.<\/p>\n

There are only a few names so strongly linked to the revolutionary spiritual evolution, as that of B\u00e9la Bart\u00f3k.\u00a0In the following lines, the reader will find information to fill in the blank.\u00a0Only a few know that at the age of 10, B\u00e9la Bart\u00f3k spent the first half of the 1891-1892 school session, in Oradea.\u00a0He studied here music composition, in the second grade of the city\u2019s high school, in Ferenc Kersch\u2019s class, whom was once a pupil of Franz Liszt.\u00a0In B\u00e9la Bart\u00f3k\u2019s existence – as pupil in the beginning and later on as a composer, artist, collector of folk music, and finally, last but not least, through national cohesive activities – the residence in Oradea was of great importance.<\/p>\n

\"Bart\u00f3k<\/a>Later, Bart\u00f3k is bound to Oradea by his first apprentice, Stef\u00e1nia Fischer Ervinn\u00e9 Szalay.\u00a0On many occasions, on his concert tours, B\u00e9la Bart\u00f3k is a guest in the Fischer-Szalay couple\u2019s home.\u00a0Many times, Oradea was the first stop of his Transylvanian tours.\u00a0His entire life, B\u00e9la Bart\u00f3k proclaimed the brotherhood of nations though his music and words.\u00a0B\u00e9la Bart\u00f3k\u2019s unique musical idiom was the creation of connection and climate.\u00a0We know that B\u00e9la Bart\u00f3k enhanced the impressive reputation of Oradea\u2019s musical values, in the wide world.<\/p>\n

\"Bart\u00f3k<\/a>The eternal composer of the 20th<\/sup> century, B\u00e9la Bart\u00f3k is bound to Oradea, especially to Bihor county, the inspirational place for his collection of Romanian folk songs.\u00a0We were proud, not only because we were bonded with the genius composer, but because he owed much to Oradea and Bihor county\u2019s landscape.\u00a0The goal: recognizing the link between the great Hungarian composer and Oradea, or perhaps, the affection the city had for B\u00e9la Bart\u00f3k, since the two were equally important to us.<\/p>\n

We were proud, not only because we were bonded with the genius composer, but because he owed much to Oradea.\u00a0Why?\u00a0S\u00e1ndor Thurz\u00f3, the greatest expert in music and musicologist of Oradea, publisher of the book, answered that question.\u00a0During his life, S\u00e1ndor Thurz\u00f3 was engaged in multiple activities.\u00a0Now, thanks to his compilation, the reader has a refreshed perspective over those moments, with B\u00e9la Bart\u00f3k revived through the keen eye of the local media and inner thoughts.<\/p>\n
